We are rapidly expanding our business and team and are therefore looking for a Singapore registered Professional Engineer (PE), ideally with façade inspection and PFI experience to act as Competent Person (CP) on a variety of façade inspection projects.

Overview
As a Professional Engineer, you will serve as the Competent Person (CP) responsible for planning, executing, and certifying façade inspections. You’ll lead technical assessments, ensure safety compliance, and deliver actionable insights to clients.
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Supervise periodic façade inspections in accordance with BCA guidelines.
- Review architectural and structural drawings to plan inspection methodology and provide costings to our clients.
- Work with the Operations Team to conduct full visual and close-range inspections.
- Review the AI driven inspection reports to verify defect selection and suggest remedial actions.
- Input to and approve detailed inspection reports, completed by the AI technology and operations teams. Once approved, submit to BCA in a timely manner and following all required guidelines.
- Coordinate with building owners, façade inspectors, Operations teams, H&S officer, and access equipment operators to ensure safe and efficient inspection procedures.
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and emerging inspection technologies.
- Assist with new business pitches as and when required.
- Assist in other ad hoc duties as required, contributing to the overall success of the business.
- Represent Bizlify at industry events when required.
🎓 Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Professional Engineer (Civil or Structural) with the Professional Engineers Board Singapore required.
- Singapore PR or Citizen required
- Experience in building inspections, façade engineering, or structural assessment preferred.
- Familiarity with BCA’s PFI guidelines and protocols preferred.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools such as drones, infrared scanners, and rope access systems is a plus.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Certification in Façade Inspection, Work-at-Height, Rope Access, or UAV operation is a plus.
- Able to work remotely and use your own initiative to solve problems.
